Late summer love at the Acres!

Full bloom and full of fun at Skagit Acres
One of our very favorite things about summer in the Skagit Valley is showing off the wonders and delights of living within minutes of the Puget Sound or the Cascade Foothills. Fun fact, the cool maritime air that flows into the Skagit Valley every evening creates a growing environment unlike any other in the United States (it's very similar to the Bordeaux region of France). This unique combination of moderate soil temps, cool air, and relatively long days creates the opportunity for us to grow 80 different types of crops here in the Valley. Discovering and celebrating this diversity and abundance is central to our mission here at Skagit Acres.
It's way too early to use the H-word (Holidays) but let's just say we're ALREADY starting to get deliveries from the North Pole and we need to make room which means... it's time for our July Twice-Annual Sale on July 31st. Everything on site will be 20% off, with an additional 10% for loyalty club members and all of our plants and trees will be 50%! You won't find gift, home, and garden deals like this even at Nordys so make sure you save the date for Saturday, July 31st!
Our farm team has been working overtime to keep the gladiolas and sweet peas popping and we're offering fresh-cut daily bouquets for $5. In addition to the flowers that are coming off the field, we have an AMAZING selection of veggies that we have been growing on-site. Beets, tomatoes, cukes and more! We would love to share our summer bounty with you, stop by for the freshest produce around!
